A leading South Asian multimedia news agency, ANI, has published an article regarding the visit to India by nine members of EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) Tokyo Central, including the CEO of D-POPS GROUP, President Goto. Here is a link to it:
★“Sairee Chahal and TRTL Ventures create a platform to connect Japanese business leaders with Indian businesses”
This visit to India was a major initiative to promote Japanese investment into India-based startup companies, under the guidance of D-POPS GROUP’s own investment company, TRTL Ventures.
India’s startup ecosystem has grown into one of the world’s largest democratic economic ecosystems, second only to that of the United States. Over the past decade, India’s startup ecosystem has seen a massive influx of capital across sectors such as consumer goods, Fintech, SaaS, climate tech, inclusion, supply chain, and D2C. The Indian economy continues to outperform its global counterparts, and Indian talent and entrepreneurs are in high demand around the world.
During their trip to India, the delegation met with officials from the Embassy of Japan in India, including Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki; visited Paytm, the largest payment service provider in India that supplies technology to Japan’s PayPay; and held discussions with numerous startup companies that we have invested in through TRTL Ventures.
This visit, attended by prominent business leaders and investors representing both countries, marked a crucial step towards strengthening bilateral trade and investment between Japan and India. We aim to continue supporting TRTL Ventures and India in the future.
